Free chess game review — paste a PGN or Lichess link

Lost a game on Chess.com or Lichess? Paste it here. Chess Moment finds the turning point — the move where the game changed — and shows it on the board with the move that was better. Free in your browser, with no account and no app.

Paste reads the game you copied. Your browser may ask first.

Copy your game in three steps

A PGN is the text version of a chess game, and every game on Chess.com and Lichess has one.

  1. Open the finished game. On Chess.com, open it from your game history. On Lichess, open its game page on lichess.org.
  2. Copy its PGN.
    • Chess.com website: Share, at the bottom of the Analysis tab, then the PGN tab.
    • Chess.com iPhone or iPad app: open Game Analysis (the magnifying glass), then Options → Share → Copy.
    • Chess.com Android app: More → Export PGN → Copy.
    • Lichess: Share & export below the board, then copy the PGN — or just copy the game’s address, because a Lichess link is enough.
  3. Paste it here. Press Paste, choose the side you played, then Find the turning point.
A Coach Moment still: a chess board with White to move, an arrow from the queen on h5 to f7, and the takeaway written under the board.
An example Coach Moment still. White to move: Qxf7 is checkmate, because only the king guarded f7 and the bishop on c4 backs up the queen.

5 free Coach Moments a day on imported games; Pro lifts the limit. Standard chess only, and imports never touch your rating.
