Pass

Decline a double (same as "drop"), conceding the current cube value.

How it works in play

Passing a double means declining it and conceding the game at the current stake; ‘pass’ and ‘drop’ are the same thing. Cube decisions are written as double/take or double/pass.

  • Drop — Decline a double (also "pass"), conceding the current cube value.
  • Take — Accept a double, continuing the game at doubled stakes with cube ownership.
  • Take point — The minimum winning probability at which taking a double breaks even — about 25% in money play; score-dependent in matches.
  • Double — An offer to double the stakes via the doubling cube, made before rolling.
